BIO WORLD
It is our pleasure to invite delegates to participate in BIOWORLD 2013 – the third
annual conference being organized by the Kusuma School of Biological Sciences,
at IIT-Delhi. The School was established in December 2008 with a
mission to promote innovative interdisciplinary research by interfacing
modern biology with applied engineering sciences to address problems
affecting human health and welfare, and training scholars to be the next
generation scientists. The research interests of the School are broadly
in the areas of infectious diseases and non-communicable disorders.
Profile of I.I.T. Delhi
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
is one of the premier institutes in India for research training and
education in the fields of science and engineering. IIT-Delhi campus is
situated in Hauz Khas, 12 Kilometers from the Indira Gandhi
International airport. The campus is spread over 320 acres, and
surrounded by some of the best academic Institutes and Universities in
India, including National Institute of Immunology, International Center
for Genetic Engineering and Bio-Technology, National Institute of Plant
Genome Research, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. IIT-Delhi has a
vibrant academic atmosphere in harmony with a picturesque landscape, and
has hosted numerous national and international conferences since its
inception in 1963.
